How Rodeo Dental Builds a Culture of Clinical Excellence
At April’s Super Dentist Boost Camp, we had the opportunity to reconnect with two incredible Dentist Job Connect clients and the co-founders of Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics, Dr. Yahya Mansour and Dr. Saam Zarrabi. Their presentation, Building a Culture of Clinical Excellence, was one of the standout sessions of the weekend and left a lasting impression on practice owners and associates alike.
One of the things we value most about working with organizations like Rodeo Dental is seeing the impact they have on the associates who join their team. Through conversations with job seekers who have found careers there, we’ve consistently heard stories centered around mentorship, growth, leadership, and genuine connection. Their Boost Camp presentation only reinforced why Rodeo Dental continues to stand out as a Dental Success Organization.
Dr. Saam Zarrabi and Dr. Yahya Mansour both grew up surrounded by dentistry, and that lifelong exposure to the profession was reflected in the way they spoke about leadership, mentorship, and culture. Dr. Saam’s father, who is also a dentist, joined us at Boost Camp, making the experience even more meaningful. It was a reminder that the values behind Rodeo Dental are deeply rooted in relationships, learning, and community.

Another memorable part of the weekend was seeing Dr. Yahya invite a dental student, Luisana Torres, to attend Boost Camp alongside him. Even as the co-founder of an organization with more than fifty practices and around 200 associates, Dr. Yahya continues to invest time into mentoring and engaging with future dentists. Throughout Saturday’s lectures, Luisana sat side-by-side with Dr. Yahya, learning collaboratively and gaining firsthand exposure to leadership, growth, and continuing education within the profession. It was a powerful example of the mentorship-focused culture Rodeo Dental has built.
Throughout their presentation, Dr. Yahya and Dr. Saam shared practical leadership lessons that resonated with practices of all sizes. Whether you own one location or fifty, the principles behind building a strong culture remain the same.
Here were three of our biggest takeaways from their lecture:
- An incredible patient experience starts with an emphasis on “unreasonable hospitality”
- Culture is defined by what people do when no one is watching
- Great organizations clearly define what excellence looks like and consistently communicate those expectations
One of the most memorable moments came after the presentation when Dr. Bob Crowley stood up to commend Dr. Yahya for the lecture. Dr. Bob shared that he initially walked into the presentation focused on the differences between his practice and Rodeo Dental. As a private practice owner with one associate, he assumed their experiences would be vastly different.
Instead, he walked away realizing how much they had in common.
“I was on the edge of my seat for his whole presentation. What he said I can apply to my practice. We can apply it in all of our practices. He gave real world advice and it was just a really great lecture.” - Dr. Bob Crowley
That moment perfectly captured the value of attending events like Super Dentist Boost Camp. No matter the size of the practice or organization, there is always an opportunity to learn from one another, grow together, and build stronger cultures within dentistry.
We’re incredibly proud to work with Rodeo Dental and grateful they continue to trust Dentist Job Connect as a resource for connecting them with the right associate dentists. We also want to congratulate Dr. Yahya and Dr. Saam on an incredible presentation at Boost Camp!
